🏉 Jersey Day 2026 🏐
Today, our Aldridge State High School community proudly took part in Jersey Day, wearing our favourite sporting jerseys to help raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation.
Jersey Day was inspired by Nathan Gremmo, who became an organ donor at just 13 years of age and went on to save six lives. The day encourages meaningful conversations with family and friends about registering as an organ and tissue donor and the life-changing impact donation can have.
A big thank you to our wonderful staff who proudly wore their team colours in support of this important cause.

𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝟭𝟬 𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 – 𝗠𝗢𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗦

Last week, our Year 10 Biology students participated in a three-day ecology camp to Mon Repos. Students were able to develop valuable field work skills and further their knowledge of coastal ecology.

While there, students were introduced to the field work techniques ecologists use to determine species diversity and distribution. They conducted line transects and species distribution studies of the sand dunes, revealing the process of succession.

Students and staff alike had a wonderful time, and the beautiful beaches of Mon Repos did not disappoint! Most importantly, students were able to develop the essential field work skills they will need to become competent ecologists.
