Once again, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our very successful Cookie Dough Fundraiser! 🙌✨

A special thank you to Rum City Foods for delivering our delicious Cookie Dough products 😋🚚

👏 A big shout out to Eloise Wattie for preparing the certificates and clickers that were handed out today to our Top 5 Sellers. What a fantastic effort by all involved! 🌟🏆

💐 And lastly, a heartfelt thank you to Susan Q for helping throughout the day today. Your support was greatly appreciated 😊💙

🌟 WEEK 9 AT SUNBURY 🌟

What a huge week ahead at Sunbury State School! 💙
🏃‍♀️🏅 SPORTS DAY 2026 - TUESDAY 16 JUNE 🏅🏃‍♂️
The countdown is on! Sports Day is almost here and we can't wait to see our students proudly representing their houses and giving their best effort throughout the day.

❤️ Aldridge 💛 Palmer 💚 Furber

Families, grandparents and community members are warmly invited to join us for one of the biggest and most exciting events on our school calendar.

☕ Burrum Brews & Bites will be on-site serving coffee, cold drinks and treats.
🌭 The Lions Club will once again be providing food throughout the day.
🧊 Helping Hands have kindly supplied Zooper Doopers for students.

🍪 COOKIE DOUGH ARRIVING
Billy G's Cookie Dough is expected to arrive this week. Thank you to our incredible school community for supporting this fundraiser. An amazing 226 tubs were sold, exceeding our goal by 26 tubs! 🎉

🎓 SCHOOL PARADE
Our weekly parade will be held on Monday from 2:20pm. Families are always welcome to attend as we celebrate student achievements and successes.

🏊 SWIMMING
Swimming continues this week for students in 2C and 3T.

🍞 BREAKFAST CLUB - WEDNESDAY ONLY from 8:30am.

🗣 PARENT & CAREGIVER FEEDBACK SESSIONS
Mrs Wieland would love to hear from families. Feedback sessions will be held throughout the week in the School Library. See our previous post for session times.

📸 SCHOOL PHOTO DAY
A reminder that School Photo Day will be held next Monday (Week 10). Information and ordering details have already been sent home. Keep an eye out for reminders later this week.

We can't wait to see everyone out on the oval on Tuesday for a fantastic day of participation, teamwork, house spirit and fun!

Fingers crossed 🤞 our Cookie Dough delivery will be arriving tomorrow morning! 🎉😋 (Monday 15th June)

📱 A text message will be sent home once the order has arrived and has been sorted for collection.

❄️ Please remember to bring an Esky or Cooler Bag when collecting your order to help keep your Cookie Dough nice and cold. 🧊👜

Sunbury Parent & Caregiver Feedback Sessions!

We value the partnership we have with our families and would love to hear your ideas, feedback and suggestions about Sunbury State School.

Acting Principal Mrs Arlene Wieland is inviting parents and caregivers to attend one of three informal feedback sessions in the School Library.

No bookings are required. Simply drop in, ask questions, share your thoughts and help shape the future of our school.

📢 Tuckshop Update

Unfortunately, due to a shortage of volunteers, there will be no tuckshop service in Weeks 8 and 9 of this term.

As a volunteer-run service, we rely on the support of our wonderful school community to keep the tuckshop operating, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The good news is that we’re busy planning some exciting new menu items for Week 10 to help finish the term on a high! 🎉🍽️ We can’t wait to share them with you.

If you have a few hours to spare and would like to help support our school community, we’d love to welcome some new volunteers to the tuckshop team. Every little bit of help makes a big difference and helps us continue providing this service for our students.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our tuckshop and P&C. 💙

Sports Day is fast approaching and we're getting excited! TUESDAY 16th June!🏅

🌭 The Lions Club will once again be providing food on the day — thank you for your continued support! 🙌

📝 Prep, Year 1 & Year 2 Sunbury Families, these Students will be provided with brown paper bags to pre-order their Sports Day lunch.
📅 Orders are due back to the office by FRIDAY 12th JUNE!!

🍔 Years 3 and up will be able to purchase their own food on the day.

☕ Need your caffeine fix? Burrum Brews & Bites will be there serving delicious coffee throughout the day! 😋

It's shaping up to be a fantastic day of fun, fitness and school spirit! 🎉🏅💙
