Maryborough Aquatic Centre Learn to Swim & Toward Competitive Stroke classes all ages, aqua fitness classes & more It also won the Austswim 2015 Qld Swim School of the Year.

Maryborough Aquatic Centre is a beautiful refurbished facility boasting a solar heated indoor pool and 50m pool, a heated 25m pool and a water play area for the littlies. Maryborough Learn to Swim School is an Austswim and Swim Australia registered swim school. We offer term and holiday lessons all year round. We also offer a tiered squad program from mini squad to competitive squads. Come in for

a free trial today. The Centre provides fitness and aquatic programs for all types of recreational and fitness participants. Come in and speak to our friendly staff and grab some information.

🏊 Indoor pool access update

From Monday 8 June, public access to the indoor Learn to Swim pool at Maryborough Aquatic Centre will be unavailable during scheduled Learn to Swim and school swimming sessions.

The indoor pool will remain available to the public outside these times in line with the current pool allocation schedule.

The change helps provide safe and well-supervised environments during Learn to Swim and school swimming programs while supporting Council's child safety obligations.

✔ Indoor pool remains available outside programmed sessions
✔ Learn to Swim and school swimming programs continue as normal
✔ Pool allocation timetables are available at the centre to help plan your visit

This change was endorsed by Fraser Coast Regional Council at its meeting on 27 May 2026.

We here at the Maryborough Aquatic Centre would like to congratulate more of Maryborough’s Masters swimmers, Patricia O’Brien-Price, Ian McAlister, and Cobie Van Wangeningen.
Who took part in the 2026 Masters Swimming Australia Nationals held at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre from Tuesday 26 April to Friday 1 May 2026.

✔️Wear thermal or long sleeved rashies to retain warmth.
✔️Use a swimming cap to trap in heat
✔️Use a deck coat or thick towel dressing gown after your swim
✔️Bring warm clothes to change into after the lesson
