We’re excited to invite you to our Children’s Week celebration!
This year, we’re celebrating the wonderful diversity of cultures within our community. We’ll have multicultural toys and activities to explore, along with a selection of dishes from different countries for everyone to enjoy.
What to wear: Families are welcome to come dressed in traditional cultural clothing to celebrate their heritage, or dress up in their favourite Halloween costumes! With our celebration falling on Halloween, you can choose whichever option is most fun for your family.
Something to share: We’ll have a selection of dishes from different countries, and if your family would like to bring along a favourite treat or special family recipe to share, we’d absolutely love that! This is completely optional, but it’s a lovely way to celebrate the different cultures, traditions and flavours within our community. If there is another way you would like to share your culture with us on the day, please get in touch with us by replying to this email.
Something fresh: We’ll also have a big platter of fresh fruit and vegetables for everyone to enjoy.
If you bring a dish to share, please include a list of ingredients to help families manage allergies and dietary requirements.
We can’t wait to celebrate with our wonderful toy library families for a morning of play, connection, cultural discovery and Halloween fun!
