FAMILY DAY CARE
We, at Central Goldfields Shire Family Day Care Scheme will endeavour for
• All children and families to experience belonging to and with our scheme
• All children and families to simply be. Being recognises the significance of the here and now in our lives. It is about knowing ourselves, building and maintaining relationships with others, engaging with life’s joys and complexities and meeting challenges in everyday life.
• All children to become confident and involved learners
The Central Goldfields OSHC will, through its qualified educators, provide care and activities which are appropriate for primary school aged children, respecting their needs, and the need for positive interaction amongst the group. OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURS CARE
We value the importance of middle childhood and the value of play and recognise them as unique with each child having different needs, interests, and abilities. We aim to provide opportunities to enhance and support the developmental needs of all children and to provide a safe, happy and relaxed atmosphere that is inclusive of all children.

The reality is that as a Council – we can’t do everything – but we want to ensure that what we do, matters.

We’re currently developing our Council Plan which sets out the key priorities that Council will focus on over the next four years.

For the first time, our Council Plan will also incorporate the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan to ensure our community’s health and wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do.

By spending a few minutes, you can help decide where we will
focus our resources and efforts to best support our community.

The first round of feedback is invited until Friday 28 March and can be provided via:

💻Online survey - www.engage.cgoldshire.vic.gov.au/whatmatters
✍️ Hard copy survey - collect from our Customer Service Centre, Maryborough or Dunolly libraries or The Nest.
👧 Kids activity sheet - online and from the locations above
🗣 Attend an in-person drop-in session in Maryborough, Dunolly, Carisbrook or Talbot during March - details at the link above
☎️ Chat to your Ward Councillor - www.centralgoldfields.vic.gov.au/councillors

3. Contribute constructively
We want everyone to be able to contribute their thoughts to any topic. Just make sure what you have to say is relevant and constructive. Off-topic comments, spam or irrelevant links will be hidden or deleted.
4. Respect everyone's privacy
Do not post personal information of yourself or others (such as names, contact details or car registration details) anywhere on this page. Do not try to “name and shame” community members or Council staff. You can see our full privacy policy at:

In addition, defamation laws now apply to pages, and as the publisher of this page we reserve the right to delete comments or switch off commenting altogether if there are any that run the risk of defaming anyone. We will also ban people from our page if we feel that they have consistently ignored our page rules.
