Final QFD inspection today for our newly installed fire detection system monitoring sliding fire doors in an industrial complex. Notice the delay closing - this is a requirement before the sliding doors release to close off the fire compartment. So good to see synchronised sliding fire doors! 😁

Many buildings with fire detection and alarm systems can be connected to an Alarm Signalling Equipment (ASE) service. An ASE provides continuous monitoring to ensure emergency alarms are transmitted when they matter most.

When there is an alarm, the ASE sends a signal to the monitoring service to trigger fire brigade attendance. When there is a fault on your system, the ASE sends a signal to the monitoring service to trigger an alert to the customer via SMS. This message provides instructions to have your fire service provider attend to investigate and resolve.

Regular testing and maintenance of your fire detection and alarm systems help confirm your ASE is operating correctly, your communication paths remain reliable, and your building stays compliant with Australian Standards and legislative requirements.
