Multiple services will be held across local communities this Saturday, April 25, to commemorate ANZAC Day.

ELSC will be laying a wreath at the Cenotaph before marching after the annual service in Chelsea at 9:30am.

We invite all members to join. Meet at 9am at the corner of Sherwood Avenue and Station St.

THAT'S A WRAP FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON 🚩

Our final patrol for 2025/2026 has come to an end today, flags down, bringing another busy season at the Edithvale Life Saving Club to a close.

It has been a very busy season of Nippers and Patrols with countless volunteer hours both on the beach and behind the scenes.

To our Patrol team members and volunteers - A BIG thank you from your Committee, members and the public for keeping our beach safe.

And to our wider community, supporters, sponsors, and everyone who respects and backs what we do - thank you, we couldn't do it without you.

Time for a well earned rest.

Join professional chef and food storyteller Tim Hollands for a relaxed and engaging evening of live cooking, cultural stories, and a shared meal.

Born in Tokyo and based in Melbourne, Tim brings global flavours and rich food stories from his travels through Asia and the Middle East. Working with industry bodies, government and communities, he shares a unique perspective on the food we eat and where it comes from.

Through live cooking demonstrations, Tim will guide you through flavours, techniques, and ingredients weaving in stories from markets, producers, and kitchens around the world.

First up is a Sri Lankan Spice Journey - a flavour-focused experience exploring spices and balance, preparing a vibrant curry-style dish with accompaniments. We discuss how to use spices confidently, along with some of the history behind the spice trade, before sitting down together to enjoy the meal.
