𝐈 𝐑𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐲𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐤, 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐨𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐤, 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐢𝐦.
Rohit is a 28 Years old married man with an 18 months old baby boy. He was diagnosed with AML(Acute Myeloid Leukemia) Blood cancer on 26/06/2023, in Nepal. He ran to the emergency with a severe headache on 25/06/2023. He started his Chemotherapy on 27/06/2023. He has got neutropenic fever. Now his constant temperature is 40.38°C (104-105°F). Additionally, he has been suffering from pneumonia. His Platelets are dropping rapidly and we couldn't even get him more blood as his fever is not receding. The situation looks quite grim. He had an unwitnessed fall 3 days ago in the ICU itself and since then I have been requesting doctors to perform an MRI (head scan) just to avoid any major complication that could be there because of internal bleeding in head. The only MRI machine in the hospital is not working. He has been having seizures now.
Doctor has suggested bone marrow transplant for him and it could be the only possible way for him to recover for blood cancer. He has a blast cell of 98%, as his condition is very aggressive. I(his sister) am looking for all possible ways for him to get a fast treatment arrangement for him. I have contacted doctors in China, India and NIH( America's Research Hospital) for his case. As Nepal is lagged in medical services.
As Rohit's medical expenses are increasing rapidly and we are expecting it to exceed more and more with all the added complications, any voluntary financial donations would be immensely helpful. I would greatly appreciate any support in this direction.
