Protecting the next generation of workers 🛡️
Tuesday, 28 April is World Day for Safety and Health at Work, focusing on psychosocial hazards. These are workplace factors like high job demands or poor support that can cause real psychological and physical harm.

Young workers under 15 are especially vulnerable as they are often new to the workforce. WIV is here to ensure that Victoria’s child employment laws are followed, protecting kids from working excessive hours or performing dangerous tasks.

Have questions or concerns? Contact WIV at 1800 287 287 or go to wiv.vic.gov.au for more information.
