📣 NEW REPORT: Review of statewide all-hazards community preparedness programs

Statewide and national programs are increasingly used to support coordinated all-hazards preparedness across different communities.

IGEM’s latest review examines all-hazards community preparedness programs at the statewide level, with a focus on the long-running and well-regarded Get Ready programs in New Zealand, Queensland and New South Wales.

The review makes 19 findings that can support the Victorian Government to design and implement a statewide all-hazards community preparedness program tailored to the needs of Victorian communities: https://go.vic.gov.au/438BNxE

IGEM is grateful for the significant contributions from government departments and agencies including NSW Reconstruction, Queensland Reconstruction Authority & NZ Civil Defence
