The challenges our sector and communities face demand more than reactive measures. They call for significant insight, innovation, and adaptability.

The week's Emergency Management Conference provided an opportunity to bring the particularly quiet hero of sector- and practitioner-led emergency management research to the fore.

Celebrating its 25th year, this year’s conference explores current and emerging realities and trends shaping emergency management - both locally and globally.

In the last 12 months Victoria State Emergency Service volunteers have responded to over 35,000 requests for assistance to keep our communities safe! WOW!
