Congratulations Dr Katrina Stratton MLC on your appointment as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health, Mental Health, Preventative Health.

I’m excited to work for Minister Meredith Hammat MLA on these portfolios which touch all our lives and communities - and across the life cycle.

I started my social work career working in hospitals. Never did I imagine that years later I would be sworn in as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Health, Mental Health, Preventative Health.

I’m excited to work for Minister Meredith Hammat MLA on these portfolios which touch all our lives and communities - and across the life cycle.

Congratulations Rachel Stephen-Smith MLA a fabulous EMILY’s List woman stepping into leadership we are so proud of you 💜💪

I love Canberra.

I was born here. I went to public school here. I got my first job here.

I’ve seen our city grow, change and achieve so much.

And since 2016, I’ve played a part in that story as a local MLA and Labor Minister.

Working with Canberrans in every part of our city to build hospitals, expand our Walk-in Centres, strengthen public healthcare - and so much more.

Now as Deputy Chief Minister, Minister for Education and Minister for Child Development and Wellbeing, I can’t wait to get stuck into the work with Andrew Barr MLA and the ACT Labor team.

And keep delivering for children, for families - and for every Canberran.
