Located in Frankston, Victoria, McClelland College is a secondary school that takes an 'Education By Design’ approach to learning

After home, the single biggest influence on a child’s future will be the school that they attend. At McClelland College, we understand the impact of this crucial decision. Our ‘Education by Design’ approach allows students find a pathway that appeals to their passion. Our team of dedicated educators take the time to get to know every individual student and craft a curriculum that helps them discover, then achieve, their goals. Recognised for our flexible learning environments and holistic approach to education, at McClelland College we not only prepare children for the school year, but also for the future.

I headed out to McClelland College today to visit with some very talented senior students to share the news that a re-elected State Labor Government will invest $19.84 million to deliver a new Performing Arts Centre at the school.

A performing arts centre that would match the college's enthusiasm for the arts.

I was joined by upperhouse member Michael Galea MP to help celebrate the announcement.

What a fabulous night, to not only see our students receive awards along with the other school students from the Peninsula.

McClelland took out the School of Best Practice in Applied Learning, a credit to all the teachers in our VCE VM program, the curriculum developed and of course the administration support.

McClelland is leading the way in Applied Learning practices, to have all the hard work recognised and celebrated at the PAL awards last night really is the icing on the cake. As we already know how great our Applied Learning VCE VM program is at McClelland College.
