There are many rules to Downball and even more slang names for different kinds of bounces and shots 😆

'Fireballs' = really hard hit
'Snakeys' = a very low return
'Skinners' = looks like it's rolling along
'Cannonballs' = like a 'Fireball', but harder
'Normals' - normal return
'High tower' = hit into the air
'Ace' = the same as in tennis, where the serve is unplayable
'Air ball' = hit up into the air
'Vault' = a bad serve
'Funny bounces' = the ball hits something and goes the other way
'Cherries' = 'the ball can fall on the other side'
'Footsies' = to kick the ball instead of hitting it with the hand

You definitely need one of these Downball courts at your school!!
We can supply or install 2 different sizes 2.5 x 2.5m or 4m x 4m.

Shape Toss is a fun and bright feature for any play space and can be incorporated in PE class. Great for improving hand and eye co-ordination. It allows children to improve on timing and prediction and encourages practice and precision. We have also added shape and number learning too 🤩🙌
