This Saturday morning, Knox Repair Cafe Inc. is at the Shed and We will offer to fit Anti-Theft numberplate screws to your car if you have concerns about having your numberplate stolen. Police Rd Rowville 10am until midday.

Homelessness Week Youth Initiative Saturday 22nd August.

There will be an open day organised by the youth team at Sant Nirankari Mission to ‘Engage, Explore and Evolve’ Nirankari Mission on Police Rd. Rowville Melbourne. All are welcome.

Sant Nirankari Mission is our neighbour over the road.

Lunches we do at the Shed are pretty unplanned. Most of the time it can depend upon what we find available. Today’s foraging produced veg soup.

A very busy day at the Shed today. A couple of members serviced our thicknesser, while most worked on little tool caddy kits. We are making 100 flat-pack kits for a Bunnings Fathers day activity.

What a bunch of Champions! A recent project for us was to make podiums for 1st, 2nd & 3rd winners for a local tennis club. Once plans were sorted they teamed up and got started before making a great finish.

Rowville Men’s Shed is a welcoming workshop and community space where men of all ages come together to share their skills, work on projects, and enjoy the companionship of like-minded peers. It’s a place of creativity, learning, and wellbeing, providing a supportive environment that strengthens social connections and personal growth within the Rowville community.

CITATION

Paul Patterson has been actively involved in a range of community roles since 1981.

Paul was the Cub Leader of the 1st Scoresby Sea Scouts, where the cubs partook in excursions and undertook traditional scout adventures.

Paul was also the coach of his daughter’s basketball team, The Scorpions. Paul became an active parent helper at Scoresby High School, assisting the coaches with the Auskick program.

Paul has been heavily involved with Meals on Wheels and with the Outer Eastern Food Share.

Following his retirement from full time work as a motor mechanic, Paul joined the Rowville Men's Shed in 2021. He has shared his mechanical skills and wider knowledge of small motors, which proved invaluable.

Paul is the Grounds Maintenance Officer and has been a driving force in this role.
