From our humble beginnings in 1960 in a room in the Vice Chancellor's house, Monash University Library has grown to become one of Australia's leading academic libraries. Our services and resources are the bedrock on which the Monash community builds its high standard of learning, teaching and research. We play the traditional roles of a library but we do more than those. We are leading, partnering

We welcome everyone interested in our Library to like our page and post comments however the material you post on the site may not be illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or abuse intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to delete any content posted by you if it breaks these rules. By posting content, you grant Monash University Library a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use your content including the rights to copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat, and incorporate into a collective work. You are responsible for the content you post and all activity that occurs under your account. Do not misrepresent yourself or take on the identity of someone else while using this service. If you feel that someone has misrepresented your identity on the site, please email us at [email protected] and we'll look into it straight away. We are flexible to a degree when it comes to self-promotion and including links to your site. If these links are helpful to our readers, then there is usually no problem. If, however, they are considered spam, breach our guidelines, add little value to our students or are blatant advertising they will be removed. In addition, the Library upholds the Terms of Service standards administered by Facebook. Facebook encourages all users to utilise the 'Report' links when they find abusive content.
