We loved welcoming back the Class of 2001 for their 25‑Year Reunion. After a decade between gatherings (with the pandemic interrupting their last one), it was a joy to see the laughter, hugs, and friendships picking up right where they left off. It was a very special day.

A big thank you to Katherine Loftus for sharing the stories that make the Class of 2001 who you are. ✨

Since graduating in 2009, I look back with immense gratitude for the teachers, education, lifelong friendships, and diverse extra-curricular activities that shaped the person I am today. Above all, my time at MLC instilled in me the confidence to simply "give things a go". As such, I have always strived to maintain my connection to MLC, even while living and working interstate and overseas.

After returning to Melbourne in 2024 with my young family, I have been actively reconnecting with my personal and professional networks. The opportunity to join the MLC OCC comes at the perfect time, offering a meaningful, full-circle moment to give back to a community that gave so much to me. Because I deeply value the power of these networks, I can't wait to contribute to strengthening and growing the proud, 122-year-old OCC community. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Annual MLC OCC Chapel Service & Lunch last month. ✨

From thoughtful reflection in the Chapel, led by Reverend Debra Saffrey-Collins (1979), to an inspiring address from Helen Walker OAM (Price 1980), it was a special opportunity to reconnect, share stories and celebrate the strength of our Old Collegian community.

Thank you to all who joined us for this cherished annual tradition. 💒

Each year, the Val Kerr Fellowship offers up to $10,000 in funding to support projects led by alumnae that uplift and empower women.

🌎 Job training for refugees
🧠 Mental health research for autistic women
🌱 Leadership programs in Southeast Asia
💪 Support for women facing addiction, cancer, violence & natural disasters

One grant. Many voices. Real change.
