It’s just one item… until it’s not.

At the supermarket, it’s easy to walk past. 🛒🍪🥫🫘

But for someone doing it tough, that one extra can or box can mean dinner on the table.

Through FoodBoost, small choices turn into real support, helping stock emergency relief shelves for families and young people across Victoria.

You don’t have to do a lot. Just one item. One extra decision.

Because when we all do a little, it goes a long way.

Let’s take hunger off the table, together 💙🍽️

We’re all in. ❤️💛🖤

National Reconciliation Week, 27 May to 3 June, is a time to reflect on our shared histories, listen to First Peoples voices, and consider how we can each contribute to reconciliation – not just this week, but throughout the year.

At Anglicare Victoria, reconciliation is part of how we work.

Through our Reconciliation Action Plan, we’re committed to building respectful relationships, strengthening cultural understanding, and taking meaningful action alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This includes supporting young First Peoples to grow, connect to Culture, and shape their own futures through initiatives like the Buldau Yiooghen Leadership Academy.

Reconciliation isn’t something we stand back and observe, it’s something we all have a role to plays in.

This year’s theme “All In” reminds us that change happens when we show up, learn, and walk with one another.

On Thursday 30 April, Anglicare Victoria kicked off our campaign for 2026 with the Blue Connections IT (an Atturra Company) at Dell Technologies Giving Day.

More than 70 volunteers joined the dedicated Blue Connections IT team and packed over 500 bags filled with more than 7,200 essential pantry items, valued at approximately $28,000. This is practical and immediate support that will go directly to Victorians facing hardship and food insecurity.

Blue Connections IT and Atturra Managed Services also generously matched all individual donations made on the day dollar-for-dollar, contributing over $6,600 to Anglicare Victoria’s emergency relief programs.

Now in its fifth year, this Giving Day is a powerful example of what’s possible when corporate partners, volunteers and community come together with shared purpose and generosity.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated on the day, and to all those who have helped build this partnership over the past five years. We’re so grateful for your continued support.

If your workplace, school or community group wants to support FoodBoost this winter, you can run a food drive or fundraiser and help take hunger off the table. Register now and get involved. FoodBoost - Anglicare Victoria
