I can't stop reflecting on my family's hidden rich heritage, shaped by the racism they faced in Morocco back in the day.

It’s such a rare gift to find a place in me where I can feel my heart when engaging with people who not only share my story, but also embrace it—just because I was missing my inner self and come up with The The first Moroccan Mimunah for both Jewish and Muslim I've had the honor to meetin Melbourne in 2018. The stories of the most incredible and respected neighbourhood’s relations that I know of are the ones I listen to, between the Jewish Moroccan and the Muslim who use to live next door. My grandpa and grandma were welcomed their neighbours to their table, and the only thing that stop them from keeping it up is the government and those conflict’s interests who mess it all up 🤯 I’m so glad and proud today I can hold this space and as a third generation of jewish moroccan family i can again live in peace and manage a good friendship with who ever religion he or she holds. I’m in love with the hosting idea SO if you want to get along with this vibes and conversations- please DM your email and we can slowly change the world while gathering around the table with the most amazing people and deliciousness 💜🌈💃

Come to try them on April…they are delicious 🤤 Sfenj dough is shaped into a rustic ring, you wanna play with this without stopping and eat it all even when your tummy is overloaded full!

a light and spongy dough fried in oil, Sfenj is eaten plain with sour cream, sprinkled with sugar, or soaked in honey, depending who you sharing it with 💃 and we have a special secret to join the toppings!

Having a toddler in my life is such a privilege but also why i am so behind! Some of you waiting to more date of experiences, few waiting to enchanting recipes or asked for my sources of harissa if you cannot do homemade one (only if you have a good excuse hey!)
