Victorian Multicultural Commission

Victorian Multicultural Commission We support and advocate for culturally and linguistically diverse Victorians.

As the main link between communities and government, the Victorian Multicultural Commission engages with multicultural and multifaith groups to understand the issues they face. We then work together to identify and recommend potential solutions to government, policymakers and community organisations to make public services more inclusive and accessible.

The Victorian Multicultural Commission has recently concluded the final round of Regional Advisory Council meetings, marking the end of a significant chapter in community engagement across Victoria.

For almost 15 years, Regional Advisory Council members helped ensure that the voices, experiences and priorities of multicultural communities were heard. Across metropolitan and regional Victoria, members provided trusted local insights, strengthened connections with government, and championed the needs and aspirations of their respective communities.

We thank RAC members, past and present, for their commitment to strengthening community voice, connection and inclusion across Victoria – a positive legacy set to inform future engagement under Multicultural Victoria.
