We support families with children aged from newborn until their 4th birthday, delivering specialised services, guidance and education. Every family and child is different, so our approach is tailored to you. From residential, day-visit, and te

lehealth programs, we’ll help you find the right support at every stage. All our programs are delivered by our specialised team, made up of Registered/Enrolled Nurses, Early Parenting Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, Social Workers, Maternal and Child Health Nurses, Mental Health Clinicians, Midwives, Psychologists, Art Therapists and General Practitioners. Parents and carers often tell us how rewarding it is to see their children’s personalities shine through during their time with us at QEC. 🔴 Red Nose Day is about much more than wearing a red nose. It helps fund vital research, safe sleep education and support for families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby or child.

At QEC, we know that sleep can be one of the biggest challenges of early parenting. Supporting families with practical, evidence-based information about sleep and safe sleep practices is an important part of what we do.

We want every parent to feel informed, supported and confident as they care for their baby, including when it comes to creating a safe sleep environment.

So while our red noses might bring a smile today, we're proud to support a cause that is helping save little lives and support families when they need it most. ❤️

It’s lovely to hear feedback like this. It’s important to us that our services are tailored to each family, with a responsive and adaptable approach.

Our Day Stay program provides families with babies under 12 months with one day of in-person support from our Early Parenting Practitioners, focused on responsive sleep settling techniques. We’ll work alongside you to practice day naps, explore new strategies and build your confidence to use these approaches at home, including at night.

👣 Today we celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day.

Over the past few weeks, children in our playroom have been exploring this year’s theme, Living Our Truth, through footprint decorating, storytelling, and movement activities using SNAICC’s Bushland Animal Yoga Cards. Inspired by Australian bushland animals, the yoga activities encourage children to slow down, move their bodies, connect with one another, and learn about culture, self, land and Country.

The Bushland Animal Yoga Cards have become a valued part of our playroom and will continue to support moments of connection, curiosity and play as we keep exploring the stories, cultures, strengths and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
