West Footscray Neighbourhood House has rooms, office space and kitchen facilities available for hire.

Whether you’re a community group, small business, tutor, trainer, creative, local organisation or just need a practical space for an activity, we may have a space to suit you.

Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel this Saturday’s Toy Library session (June 20) due to staff sickness🤒

UPDATE- we have received a donation from a lovely person who wishes to remain publicly anonymous. Huge thank you to this anonymous legend 🙂

Hi everyone, just reaching out to see if anyone has a chest freezer they are no longer using and would like to donate? We have started a daily food relief program in partnership with second bite and we are finding that one chest freezer isn’t cutting it.

Please let us know if you know anyone or want to donate.

A big thank you to RSPCA Victoria for bringing the West Footscray Cat Clinic to West Footscray Neighbourhood House on 10 June 2026.

The clinic provided local cat owners with access to affordable health checks, vaccinations, and expert veterinary advice, helping keep beloved pets healthy and happy.

As a community-led organisation, we're proud to partner with organisations that help meet the needs of our local community and make important services more accessible.

Thank you to the RSPCA team and everyone who attended. We look forward to welcoming more initiatives like this to our neighbourhood in the future. 🐾

Neighbourhood House Week celebrates the incredible work happening in local communities across Australia and the important role Neighbourhood Houses play in creating connection, support, learning, and belonging.

This year’s theme, “Your Place to Connect”, recognises these spaces as community lifelines — welcoming places outside of home and work where people can come together, share experiences, and build relationships.

Meet our wonderful childcare educators, tour our beautiful space, chat with parents, and enjoy light refreshments.

💬 Dying to Talk: Conversations that Matter

Held alongside our weekly Soul House community lunch — a welcoming drop-in space for tea, coffee, food, and connection.
