Elwood Community Playgroup (ECP ID: 45383) is a volunteer run, not-for-profit oganisation. It is Australia's largest playgroup, with over 400 local families enjoying the facilities, parenting support and friendships that playgroup provides on a weekly basis. ECP runs up to 40 weekly playgroup sessions for parents and their children aged between 0 and 5 years and provides members with excellent fac

ilities in the refurbished Burnett Grey Maternal and Child Health Centre. New parents in the City of Port Philip are offered the chance to join a playgroup when they complete their six week New Parent program with their Maternal and Child Health Nurse. The babies, aged from 6-12 weeks when they join a group, are given the opportunity to rapidly expand their communication, social and motor skills through interaction with other children while parents tap into a valuable support network. ECP is a non-profit organisation run by a volunteer Executive Committee. This committee is made up of participating members of the ECP and positions are renewed regularly to ensure fresh ideas and thoughts are considered.

At the end of last month the lovely Zee from Mini Maestros visited us at playgroup and to say it was a hit was an understatement!

We had a big turn out with lots of little ones singing along to the songs, playing the instruments and thoroughly enjoying the parachute!
