We were delighted to welcome a Student Delegation from Arava, Israel, for a special intergenerational experience at Emmy.
Residents had the opportunity to hear firsthand about life in Arava, from school and community life to the beautiful desert landscapes they call home. In partnership with the Zionist Federation of Australia, the visit was a meaningful celebration of Jewish heritage, connection, and resilience. Thank you to our guests for sharing their stories and inspiring conversations across generations.

Today, on Aged Care Employee Day, we’re recognising the incredible people who make Emmy such a caring and welcoming place to be.
To say thank you, we came together for a BBQ lunch and shared some Emmy goodies. While it was a simple celebration, it reflected our deep appreciation for the team members who make such a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day.
The care our team provides helps create a community where residents feel valued, supported and at home.
We're grateful for everything they do.

Bringing together Emmy residents and an Upper Kinder class from The King David School, our Intergenerational Shabbat Program helps keep traditions alive while creating meaningful connections for both residents and students.

Returning to Emmy for the fourth time, the world-renowned The Harvard Krokodiloes brought their trademark charisma back to our stage. Their old-school charm, exceptional a ca****la harmonies and natural showmanship captivated the audience from start to finish. A glance around the room revealed smiles, tapping toes and residents dancing in their seats.
Andy, a Krok from North Carolina, said, “We love performing at Emmy Monash – we always receive such a warm welcome and enthusiasm from the audience.”
