Join us for our Women in Sport Forum and Networking event, bringing together women from sporting clubs across the City of Melbourne to connect, share experiences and explore future leadership opportunities.

Hear from four fantastic female leaders from Tennis Victoria, Melbourne University Touch Football, Dynamo Melbourne FC and Youlden Parkville Cricket Club. Then enjoy morning tea, meet other women in sport and give pickleball a go!

This event is part of Melbourne Girls Can, running from 9 to 29 November 2026, celebrating opportunities for women and girls to get active, try something new and find their thing.

Halloween fun is coming to Royal Park Golf Course! 👻🎃 🎃

Get your costumes ready for a family day out packed with spooky fun, mini golf, face painting, a jumping castle, live entertainment, trick or treating and plenty more!

Catch a magician, get creative with face painting, try your luck at the Halloween Hunt and join the group hunt at 11.30am, 12.30pm or 1.30pm.

We’re excited for a big weekend in Melbourne! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival is taking over the streets across two big days, with thousands of people getting active and taking on the challenge.

One of those runners is Ben Turner.

After surviving a life-threatening medical emergency, Ben is now training to take on the Melbourne Marathon and give back to the paramedics who helped save his life.

His journey is captured in his doco series, One Foot In Front Of The Other, following Ben as he trains, gets back on his feet and works towards the finish line.

It’s a pretty powerful story of resilience, recovery and putting one foot in front of the other!

From new arrival to community leader. ⚽️

Nandini arrived in Melbourne from India just 12 months ago. Like anyone new to a city, she was keen to meet people, get involved and find her feet!

She joined Walking Football Victoria at Docklands and it wasn’t long before she was helping out at sessions, volunteering at community events and getting to know the people around her.

That involvement has now led to a new role. This week, Nandini took charge of her first session as a Walking Football Session Leader at Docklands.

She’s also recently completed the City of Melbourne Women’s Leadership Program, adding to her experience and confidence as she continues to get involved in the community.

For Nandini, walking football has become a great way to stay active, meet people and be part of something local. Now she’s helping create that same experience for others.

Women’s Only Walking Football:

We are seeking feedback on a proposal to introduce smoke-free areas outside community and recreation facilities. 🚭🌿🏃‍♀

The proposal aims to reduce exposure to second-hand smoke and v**e aerosol, creating a healthier and more welcoming environment for everyone.

20 years. One incredible comeback. 🏃‍♂️

Twenty years ago, Ben Turner was hit by a tram, left with broken bones and unable to walk.

Now? He’s taking on the Melbourne Marathon.

Last week at Riverslide Skate Park, we had the privilege of welcoming 19-year-old Morgan for her very first skate session. 🛹💙

With the support of the Skate Frame program and the superstar Riverslide Skate Park team, Morgan was able to experience the excitement, freedom and confidence of skating alongside everyone else at the park.

The session was about more than just learning a new skill. It was about creating opportunities, building confidence and making sure everyone has the chance to be part of the action.

To top it all off, the other skaters joined Morgan for a group photo, showing that inclusion and community are what Riverslide is all about.

We're proud to help make skateboarding more accessible, one session at a time.
