We can’t wait to welcome our 2027 Preps back to Mitcham Primary School for another exciting transition session! 💛
This time, our little learners will have the opportunity to meet our wonderful Music teacher, Miss K, and experience all the fun and excitement that Music at Mitcham has to offer! Please enter the school via the gate on Bowling Green Lane and come straight through to our Prep classrooms, where the music fun will begin! ✨

🎭 Year 2 Talent Show! 🌟

Our Year 2 students have been very busy preparing their very own talent show to present to our Prep and Year 1 students!

This has been a completely student-led project, with every student involved in the process — from performers and ticket makers to backstage crew, prop makers and decoration teams. 🎟️🎨🎤

We are so proud of the way our students have worked collaboratively, embraced new challenges and brought their creative ideas to life. What an amazing opportunity for them to take ownership and try something new!

Year 2 families, you’re invited to join us in the PAC tomorrow from 12pm for an afternoon filled with talent, celebration and plenty of laughs! ❤️

This week Mitcham Primary School is participating in Bullying No Way Week. The theme for the week is “Small Acts, Big Impact” which reminds us that actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world.

Each day we will be sharing the daily messages and themes for the week.

It’s a busy term 3 at MPS! We have lots of exciting things planned for our students this term.

Join us for our last 2 Mitchkids sessions of 2026! You are invited to meet some of our wonderful teachers and principals, engage in craft activities, read stories and sing songs together. Parents will get the opportunity to meet other families and engage with our staff. Sessions run from 10am - 11am in our STEM room. We hope to see you there 🙂
