360 Support Coordination

Monday 30th March 2026

We're hiring two support coordinators (Immediate start)- both in Melbourne.

One position for Western Region (western Melbourne suburbs), one for Southeast Region (southeast Melbourne suburbs).

What we're looking for:

People who actually know what quality support coordination looks like. Not someone who needs a script for every situation. Coordinators who can think independently, handle complex participants, and care about real outcomes - not just compliance paperwork.

What we offer:

Fully remote work - No office, no commute, work from wherever makes sense. We don't track 9-5 hours, we track outcomes. If you do great work in 25 hours, that's the week.

Technology that actually helps - We're not just a service provider. We build systems and use automation to make coordinator work easier, not harder. Your time should go to participants, not admin busywork.

Sustainable caseloads - We track coordinator capacity properly. We're not here to burn you out.

Real leadership support - Proper structure, accessible leadership, and clear pathways if you want to move into leadership positions.

Service diversity - We offer Level 2, Level 3, PRC, and BSP. If you want to develop skills across different areas, there's room to move.

Flexibility on employment - Casual, part-time, or full-time - we'll make it work for the right person.

If you have your own caseload - bring them across. We can build more hours for you if you want them.

We've grown from 50 participants to 300, and we're building toward 2,000. But we're doing it properly - with systems that work and coordinators who don't burn out.

We're hiring because someone's leaving the organization, so there's real work to step into.

We work ethically. Quality matters here. If you're interested or know someone who might be, send resume to [email protected]

Looking for people who want to do this work well.

The NDIA just announced a $45 million Quality Supports Program to inform future pricing and market approaches.

Three support types. Different consultation approaches:

Therapy: 27 providers

SIL: 44 providers

Support Coordination: 3 providers

I've been thinking about what this means for how we define and measure "quality" in NDIS—and whether pilot design at this scale can actually capture the diversity of the sector.

I wrote a longer piece examining the methodology questions this raises and what it might mean for future pricing reforms.

Curious to hear from other coordinators and providers: How do you think about representative pilot design when findings will inform sector-wide policy?

Who's a woman who's made an impact on my career?
Two.
My mum and my wife.
My mum:
When I told my family I wanted to go to Australia to study, there was hesitation. Concern. The usual questions about why I'd leave a stable job.
My mum was the one who said: "He will go. He will surely go."
She stood up to my dad, my brother, everyone. Made it possible for me to take that leap.
Without that moment, I wouldn't be here.
My wife:
I came to Australia from a software engineering background. Had a good job in India. Then landed here and started from zero. With an education loan hanging over my head.
My wife worked so I could pay off that loan. I'm not ashamed to say it - her savings cleared my education debt.
We struggled - A lot and still struggling a lot. We still work incredibly hard and will keep working. We both work in community service.
Our eldest was born during COVID. She was alone through most of it. And six months later, she went back to work because we had a mortgage to pay.
She did that while I was trying to start this business.
Right now, I work long hours. Weekends. Late nights.
She understands. She supports it. She carries more than her share so I can do this.
I am where I am today because of these two women.
One gave me permission to dream.
The other gave me the foundation to build.
Happy International Women's Day to every woman who's stood behind someone, stood up for someone, or stood alone so someone else could move forward.
You're the reason any of this works.

There’s a lot of confusion around Support Coordination, and many people make decisions based on things they’ve heard — not on how Support Coordination actually works.

We often hear questions like:
• “Is Support Coordination only for people with complex needs?”
• “Do Support Coordinators make decisions for you?”
• “If I have an LAC, do I still need Support Coordination?”

These are common myths — and they can stop people from getting the support they’re entitled to.

Choosing a Support Coordinator isn’t just another NDIS decision — it can shape your entire journey.

The right Support Coordinator helps you understand your plan, connect with the right supports, solve problems early, and work towards real outcomes — not just services.

In our latest blog, we explain why choosing the right Support Coordinator matters more than you think, what can go wrong when the choice isn’t right, and what to look for before deciding.

Support Coordination vs Plan Management vs Local Area Coordinators — what’s the difference?

If you’re navigating the NDIS, it’s easy to feel confused by the different roles involved.

Support Coordination, Plan Management, and Local Area Coordinators all support participants in different ways — but they are not the same.

We’ve broken down each role to explain:

What they do

How they support NDIS participants

How they work together

Understanding these roles can make managing your NDIS plan feel clearer and less overwhelming.

What is NDIS Support Coordination — and why do so many people find it confusing?

Support Coordination is there to help you make sense of your NDIS plan and turn it into real, practical support. It helps with understanding your funding, finding the right providers, coordinating services, and feeling more confident along the way.

If you’ve ever felt unsure about where to start or how to use your plan, this might help.
