Brimbank Tech School's Build & Bond Day 🤖
Friday 4 September 2026 | 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Build & Bond Day is a unique father-and-son* STEM challenge where participants work together through a series of exciting activities including robotics, drones, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence.

The event focuses on teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and creating meaningful family connections through technology.

🧪 Science Week 2026 has been a huge success! 🎉

From our Year 8 Makey-Makey workshops run by the fantastic Science Gallery staff, to the Year 7 Dynamic Demos led by our own amazing Year 10 science experts, it’s been a week full of curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning.

The lunchtime spectacular was a crowd favourite, showcasing some incredible science demonstrations, including Sunshine College’s biggest-ever Elephant’s Toothpaste reaction! 💥

A huge shoutout to all the students who participated with such enthusiasm, and to the staff who helped organise and support the week. 🌱🔬

Yesterday Y12 Chemistry students attended an interactive workshop incursion by Dr Manallack from Monash University where elucidating the properties of functional groups and their impact on medicinal chemistry was the main highlight of the event 🧪
