Today, No to Violence launches From Fragmentation to Framework: Building an Ecosystem of Responses to End Men’s Use of Domestic and Family Violence.

Drawing on the expertise of around 150 practitioners across Australia, the report sets out a national pathway to intervene earlier, strengthen accountability and stop violence before it escalates.

Australia cannot keep relying on police, courts and prisons as the first meaningful response families receive. We need a connected national system that reaches men earlier, responds to different levels of risk and need, and keeps victim-survivor safety at its centre.

The blueprint is here. Now governments need to build the system around it.

The directory aims to reflect the diversity of our communities, including services for First Nations peoples, and people of all genders, ages, cultures, languages and abilities.

We recognise the importance of culturally safe, community-led responses and encourage First Nations-led services and professionals to explore the directory, share it with your networks, and register or recommend eligible services.

The directory aims to reflect the diversity of our communities and includes services designed for LGBTIQA+ communities.

Bullying isn’t always physical. It can be humiliation in the classroom, intimidation in the office, threats over social media or using power to make someone feel small. These behaviours are often dismissed with phrases like “it's just a joke”, or “they need to toughen up”, but that doesn't change the impact.

Bullying behaviours are often rooted in attitudes that seek to control, intimidate or diminish others. When left unchecked, these behaviours can contribute to a culture where disrespect and harm become normalised.

We can all help create spaces where people feel safe, respected and valued. That means recognising when banter has crossed a line, listening when someone says "stop", and speaking up when we see someone being treated unfairly.

This Bullying No Way Week, don't be a bystander. Call out bullying, support those affected, and help build communities where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Change starts with what we choose to do today.

What matters most to Victorians working to end men's use of family violence?

Today we hosted our Victorian Member Meeting, bringing together members ahead of the state election to shape our advocacy priorities together.

We shared results from our recent Member Survey, and they're clear about what matters most to Victoria:

• 68% want us pushing for earlier intervention with boys and men who use, or are at risk of using, violence
• 66% want us driving systemic reform to end the enablers of men's violence
• 73% want us advocating directly with political and policy leaders

We introduced our election platform and broke into working groups to dig into two priorities members told us matter most:

• Systemically centring victim-survivor safety and dignity
• Investment in earlier intervention

Growing a movement to end men's family violence means building coalitions and facilitating joint initiatives with the people doing this work every day. Thank you to everyone who joined, contributed ideas, and pushed our thinking further in the breakout discussions. This is what partnership looks like.

More to come as the campaign rolls out. Watch this space.
