ON HOLD FOR ADOPTION TRIAL

🧡 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🧡

Stella | 4yr old | Siberian Husky
Located Melb

Stella is a beautiful Siberian Husky with a larger-than-life personality and so much love to give. Full of energy, affection, and husky sass, she is the kind of dog who quickly becomes the centre of the home. Whether she’s heading out on an adventure, playing fetch, chatting away with her signature woowoos, or curled up on the couch for cuddles, Stella brings joy and entertainment wherever she goes.

💖 Best Qualities
Stella is incredibly affectionate and thrives on being close to her people. She loves belly rubs, roughhousing, cuddles on the couch, and sleeping snuggled up beside her humans at night. She has a playful, happy nature and has won over everyone she has met in foster care, including children.

🐾 Training & Manners
Stella already knows sit and shake and is very food motivated, making her eager to learn. She is still working on commands like wait and lay down, along with calmer lead manners and polite greetings when excited.

🚶‍♀️ Exercise & Energy
This girl has energy to spare and would suit a very active home. Stella would make an amazing walking, hiking, or running companion and loves exploring the world around her. Once she has had her daily exercise, she settles beautifully indoors and is happy to snooze the day away beside her people.

🐕 Social with Other Dogs
Stella enjoys the company of other dogs and previously lived with a Staffy. She can become overly excited when greeting new dogs, but her intentions are friendly and playful. She would enjoy having canine friends who match her playful energy.

👧 Great with Kids
Stella would suit an older child house hold that are dog savvy.

🗣️ Typical Husky Personality
Like many Huskies, Stella is vocal and expressive. Expect cheerful morning woowoos when she’s ready for breakfast or a walk. She’s full of personality and loves interacting with her humans.

🚗 Car Travel
Stella can be a little anxious in the car and prefers being close to her people while travelling. With reassurance and some patience, she settles much better after exercise.

🏡 House Training & Home Life
Stella is house trained and will usually let you know when she needs to go outside. She also absolutely loves being brushed and pampered, making grooming time easy and enjoyable.

🍖 Food & Diet
Stella is very interested in food and treats and may need ongoing training around food manners, particularly around children. She can be prone to stomach upsets, so her diet will need to be managed carefully.

⚠️ Important Information
Stella is a talented escape artist and will require an experienced, secure home committed to husky proof fencing and supervision. She is clever, athletic, and capable of opening doors, digging, and finding opportunities for adventure if given the chance. She also experiences some separation anxiety and may scratch at doors initially when left alone, though she does settle with time.

🐱 Other Pets
No cats or pocket pets.
She may suit a home with medium-sized dogs, though care should be taken with very small breeds due to her excitement levels.

Stella is a fun loving, affectionate, adventurous husky looking for a home that understands the breed and is ready to embrace all the personality, energy, and love she has to offer.

ON HOLD

🖤 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🖤

Scout | 2yrs 3m | Male | Siberian Husky
Located Melb

💖 Best Qualities
The perfect teenager doesn't exist...or does one??!! Well we seemed to have found a canine one as perfect as they could get! Meet Scout, with his textbook husky markings, gorgeous grey eyes and desire to love and live life to the fullest, this one has won hearts left, right and centre...and is now ready to find his forever perfect home.

🐾 Obedience Star
Amazingly obedient! Even does a bit of agility. Occasionally he tests you by doing something naughty, but one eye is on you, waiting for a cue as subtle as a cough, and he stops and gives you that “I wasn’t really going to do it, was just testing you” look !
🚶Walks and Doggy Diplomacy
Walks: Like most huskies he will walk as badly as you let him. Can be chatty and eager to meet other dogs. But can also be the picture perfect heel walking dog. This one we must say, all depends on the walker, because he is willing to comply and curtail his enthusiasm if properly asked to.
Meeting doggies: He is excited and chatty at the start. Needs to be kept calm so that he doesn’t overwhelm the other dog. But once the first few minutes of the meeting have passed he turns into a respectful and loving playmate.

🐕 Chatterbox
Gets very chatty while greeting his humans when they come home, or if jealousy woes come on when his doggy siblings get the fuss and belly rubs.

🌩️ Weather Warrior:
Sooky boy gets very worried with thunder and loud sounds, comes to his humans when a very concerned look in his cute mascara lined eyes “Do I need to worry about that noise?”. But he gets over it if the humans act like it is no big deal and coax him to get along with living life normally.

👶 Kid-Friendly Potential
Kids love him and he loves them back. His foster family had guests with kids 6, 10 and 14 come over and he won their hearts, they declared him the bestest dog they've met. He was lying in the youngest' lap taking a snooze by the end of the evening.

🐱 Cat & Pocket Pets & Small Dogs
Not observed but best avoided

🚗 Road Trip Ready
He is comfortable in the car.

🏠 House Training
Fully house trained. Not a single accident or spray even when he first came to his foster home.

🛁Bath and grooming
No issues at all.

🛌 Sweet Slumber:
Unfussed, is equally happy lying in a bed or on the floor. Come bed time, he feels an irresistible pull towards his bed so gives in, but if the humans are still up, he wills himself out of his cosy warm quarters every now and then, to lovingly say I'm here for you, and then rushes back to bed. Did we say how adorable he is?!

🍗 Foodie's Delight
Not fussed. In the first few days he inhaled his food but as he settled in, food has become optional. Eats but not in a hurry even if there's another husky eying his food. He won't go hungry but in loving life, food is low on his priorities. Treats on the other hand... have the potential of getting him over excited so calls for a bit of caution and experience.

ℹ️ Extra info
If his humans are out, he spends the time snoozing. Not a destructive thought towards toys or things.
It is not uncommon for him to decide to unite a stray shoe or sock with its human owner. Just brings them over and drops them at the owner's feet.
If he's sounding like the perfect husky, he really is! Very rare but sometimes glimpses of potential wild teen mischief come through, hence we're looking for an experienced husky household that can watch out for these, keep excitement levels down and calmly say a firm “No” cause that's all it takes to make him perfect again. An adorable, loving, gorgeous hunk…you'll love every second with Scout!

❌ ON HOLD - pending adoption meet

🤎 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
OR FOSTER TO ADOPT 🤎

Yoshi | 4yrs 5m | Male | Siberian Husky X
Located Romsey

Sometimes a very special dog comes along, and teaches you special lessons that you weren't even aware you needed.

Meet Yoshi. He came from a very neglectful, difficult situation, meaning he has never learned that humans are good, and what the outside world looks like. When he came out of his nightmare to us, he was a mess. He was matted, terrified, and ready to run and hide. When he arrived to his foster carer, she cried. She was so used to huskies who were pushing boundaries, that this poor, scared little man ripped at her heartstrings.

Over the next few months, Yoshi’s transformation has been immense. He was a star for his grooming, he has learned to take treats from his people's hands, he has become food motivated and loves to play with other dogs.

Let us be clear, Yoshi may not be a 'normal' dog that goes for walks and happily greets people he meets. But his silly, amazing personality has truly blossomed and as such he is ready to transition to a foster to adopt home who will give him the love he deserves.

Yoshi will blossom in a quiet home with a single or couple, who have an existing kind dog or three. At the moment he is living pack life with five other huskies and he does very well. He loves to play, but is very submissive.

Yoshi is crate trained and will go into his crate for food or a treat, and this is where he feels safe to eat his dinner (as he will stop if people or dogs approach) and he will sometimes sleep here by choice. He is currently crated while his foster is out of the house, but he can go either way- he is not destructive however is about 75% toilet trained and may sometimes have an accident if the outside door is shut.

Yoshi can be leashed from his crate and has been a fabulous boy at the vet, and has never shown any aggression. If he is afraid, he may toilet on himself but this is becoming less and less as he is more handled.

He will now happily sit on the couch or dog beds with his friends, and will be called inside by his name if the door is open.

If you're looking for a nice homebody friend, Yoshi could be your guy! He could be trained for walks, but the foster hasn't pushed this as she has space for him to run on property.

Yoshi has shown no prey drive so could potentially live with cats.

Yoshi is a tiny little gremlin, weighing in at only about 14-16kg. He is very short statured, and measures about half the height of his normal male husky siblings. He is quite fluffy and needs regular ear cleaning and grooming. He doesn't LOVE being groomed but tolerates it (but may give you the cold shoulder for a day or two).

It will take a few weeks for Yoshi to become comfortable with his new people, as he is still wary of strangers in the house (he mostly goes to sleep in his crate while people are visiting, but may venture out to give them a sniff) so his new owner should be patient and kind.

It will take a special person, but Yoshi is a special dog- one that only comes along once in a lifetime. If you give him your all, he will give you his trust in return.

ON HOLD

💗 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 💗
Angel | 18mnths | Female | Siberian Husky
Located Ballerat

💖 Best Qualities
Angel is a sweet and friendly girl who will happily shower you with kisses and affection. She has a gentle nature and a playful spirit, making her a joy to have around. Angel gets along beautifully with her foster siblings, both male and female, and enjoys their company.

🐾 Obedience Star
Angel can be a little stubborn but does listen. She wins you over with her looks, she gets along with other dogs and gets along with all humans.

🚶 Walks
Angels most favorite part of the day is her walk & play time. She is great on lead when walking alone, if walking with other dogs she tries to get in front & if you don’t let her she will throw a tantrum l. Angel is sociable and is loving to everyone, unless your a pocket pet or a wild little pocket animal.

🐶 Doggie Diplomat
Angel is a happy pup to be with others and even on her own, she’s not phased she keeps herself company.

🐕 Chatterbox:
Angel is a pretty quiet dog. She will only sing aloud when she needs something or if she wants your attention or sees something that she wants to get to.

🌩️ Weather Warrior:
Angel is not bothered by noise or weather.

🤹 Playful
This girl was invented playful, she loves her toys and protects them with her life from the other dogs, but she is more than happy to play with a human with her toys. She is not toy aggressive, just loves them.

👶 Kid-Friendly Potential
Very kid friendly, but can’t jump on people when excited. Lives with a 13,15 & 21 year old.

🌞 Energy
Angel is a very energized girl being almost two this year, so she has a lot of energy so having another play mate would be great, but she can also be on her own or with multiple dogs.

🐱 Cat & Pocket Pets
No no no small rodent animals, Angel is a normal husky when it comes to small animals her pray drive kicks in. She has on the other hand, lived with a lamb and thought that she was its mother and didn’t allow any of the other dogs to touch it. She was very protective over it.

🐾 Small Dogs?
Angel lives with 2 female huskies, a male husky, a female kelpie, a female pointer x Wiemaraner a female Rottweiler & a little dachshund x fox terrier. Gets along with all of them.

🚗 Road Trip Ready
Angel loves the car, if you open the door, she jumps straight in and is ready to go just like any husky.

🏠 House Training
Angel is toilet trained, she will go to the back door where I let them out to the toilet, so she will need the same consistency at her new home. I do put down a p*e mat as she’s very quiet and tends to go to the back door but if she’s can’t hold on she will go on the puppy mat.

🛁Bath and grooming
Angel doesn’t mind being groomed, she loves being pampered so brush, massage, belly rub she will sit there.

🛌 Sweet Slumber:
Angel sleeps anywhere, depends on how she’s feeling if she’s hot she’ll lay on the kitchen floor if she’s feeling a little bit cooler, then she will go to the bedroom and lay on the carpet.

🍗 Foodie's Delight
Angel loves her food, she is food driven. If you want her to come to you and she ignores you like a normal husky does the magic word is biscuit, either a treat or her favorite teddy bear plain biscuit. She eats cooked meats and raw with veggies but she does eat what you give her.

ℹ️ Extra info
Angel may be a quiet girl at times and can seem very shifty when she’s quiet like she’s plotting something but that’s just her personality. She does not try to escape unless she sees an out like an open gate or a gap, than she will take a chance like any husky does.
