🎨 A burst of colour for Dandenong.

🌈 The new road underpass being built to connect Princes Highway-Lonsdale Street with Cheltenham and Hammond roads has been painted in a bold colour scheme inspired by Dandenong's vibrant and diverse character.

πŸš— Built as part of the Webster Street level crossing removal, the underpass will open to traffic in September. Thank you to the Dandenong community as we get on with these important works.

Big news for Melton! πŸ—žοΈ

The boom gates at Exford and Coburns roads have been dismantled as part of a 24/7 construction blitz to finish track works, lower Exford Road under the new rail bridge and prepare the new Melton Station for opening.

Buses continue to replace trains on sections of the Ballarat, Ararat and Maryborough lines until Tuesday 1 September, when passengers will be able to use the modern new Melton Station.

Exford Road remains closed to vehicles at the level crossing until 7am, Monday 31 August.

🀩 Looking fine and dandy!

πŸš— The countdown is on to the opening of Dandenong's new road underpass, with our crews completing final works before it opens to vehicles in late September.

↔️ For the first time, the underpass will connect Princes Highway-Lonsdale Street with Cheltenham and Hammond roads, improving connections through Dandenong.

πŸ™Œ The team recently completed the project's largest concrete pour, creating a 42m long base slab.

🚘 The new road underpass is being built as part of the Webster Street Level Crossing Removal Project and will reduce congestion and deliver a more reliable road network for Dandenong.
