Let's get to know Chappy Olivia.

My name is Olivia and I'm the new Chaplain at Meringandan State School. I'm so happy to serve this little school community! I have worked as a chaplain at a number of other schools in the past but also in social worker and case manager positions elsewhere. I have 3 gorgeous children Wyatt year 7, Gisele year 5 and Elias in year 1. They certainly keep me busy!

3 random facts about me:

I recently lived a year in Perth and developed a love for snorkelling.

I love bushwalking, spotting birds, camping and kayaking, jigsaws and board games.

I was born and raised in Inverell NSW on a sheep property backing onto the beautiful Gwydir River.

The commemorative Tea Towel features a unique design comprising self-portraits drawn by our children and staff, akin to a yearbook, which will be screen printed on certified organic 100% cotton tea towels measuring 50x70cm. Orders placed via QKR will be delivered by the 150th Celebrations week of 21st August 2026.
