A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this summer at Merriwa Pool one to remember!

To all our patrons – you brought the energy all season long. From relaxed family days to cooling off in the heat, the atmosphere around the pool has been unreal 🙌

To our incredible staff – you showed up day in, day out with dedication, professionalism, and a great attitude. Your effort behind the scenes and on pool deck is what keeps everything running smoothly 💙

A massive shoutout to the Merriwa Swimming Club – what an impact it has had! The energy, community spirit, and excitement it’s brought back to the pool has been something special. Seeing swimmers back in the water, racing, improving, and bringing people together again has been a highlight of the season 👏💥

To everyone involved in the club – swimmers, volunteers, families, and supporters – you’ve helped reignite something really important for Merriwa, and the positive flow-on to the pool and wider community has been incredible.

A special thank you to Dimmity for her fantastic work running swimming lessons.
Your dedication, patience, and passion for helping kids build confidence in the water does not go unnoticed. You’ve made a real difference to so many families in the community

And to the whole Merriwa community – thank you for your support and for making the pool such an important part of your summer.

However you like to spend Australia Day, one thing is guaranteed in the Shire. It is going to be hot, social and best enjoyed together 🌞

After our Australia Day ceremonies in Scone and Merriwa, why not cool off and keep the day going at one of our FREE* Australia Day Pool Parties across the Shire. Sunshine, good company and plenty to keep the kids busy.

🎈💧 INFLATABLE FUN AT MERRIWA POOL 💧🎈
Looking for a mid week activity to keep the kids cool and active?

UHSC Youth Services are bringing the inflatable obstacle course to Merriwa Pool for an afternoon of water based fun.

🗓️ Tuesday 20 January 2026
⏰ 1:00pm to 3:00pm
📍 Merriwa Pool, Vennacher St
✅ Supervision provided
🎉 Free to use the inflatable
🎟️ Normal pool entry fees apply
🌬️ Weather permitting. In the event of strong winds, the inflatable will not be in operation.

Pop down to the pool and enjoy a fun afternoon in the water.
