This November, we introduced you to 29 exciting new toys as part of our First Concepts for All collection—thanks to funding from Toy Libraries Australia and the Australian Government Department of Social Services. These toys have been carefully chosen to support early learning concepts like numbers, shapes, colours, and feelings.

Black Friday is coming up this week and it's easy to get caught up in the excitement of sales and discounts, especially when it comes to buying for our kids. But did you know that children lose interest in toys after an average of just 36 days? That’s less than six weeks before many toys are forgotten, tucked away in cupboards, or worse… thrown out.⁠

Let's pause and think about what our children really want and need. Often, the best gifts aren’t the newest or flashiest toys but the time we spend together, the creativity we spark, and the joy that comes from shared moments of play.⁠

We're not saying don't shop - sales can be a great way to find something special. But being mindful about what we buy can make a big difference, for our wallets, our cluttered spare rooms & garage 🙈, and for the planet. ⁠
