Yesterday we celebrated Indigenous Literacy Day, highlighting the knowledge, stories, languages and connections to Country that are shared by our Indigenous students. We listened to stories about Bunjil the Creator and Tiddalick the Frog, and then read some other Indigenous stories. We created our own stories using traditional symbols and sand. Take a look at these amazing stories next time you walk past the library.

Our Foundation students put their learning into action with an exciting Mentos and Coke experiment! We explored what happens when the two are combined and watched with excitement as the Coke fizzed, bubbled and erupted!

As we observed the reaction, we focused on the “zz” digraph and discovered that the word “fizz” contains our special sound. The children loved seeing the reaction with mentos and coke!

Wow, Book Week 2026 did not disappoint! 📚✨
So incredibly proud of all the students (and special person!) who put so much heart and creativity into their costumes today. Seeing these stories come to life is pure magic. 💫

What an amazing day at District Athletics!

Our students did an incredible job, giving their all and proudly demonstrating our school values throughout the day.

This week the Foundation students are reading the fairytale, The Gingerbread Man. Today they took part in a cooking language experience where we made gingerbread people. We spoke about the ingredients and learnt a lot about Ginger! Students decorated their own gingerbread people with icing and chocolate buttons.
