Thank you, Midwest Aero 👏

The Shire of Mingenew recently presented Midwest Aero Medical with a plaque recognising their invaluable service to our community since 2011.

For more than 15 years, the team provided regular GP services and continuity of care for Mingenew residents, making a significant contribution to the health and wellbeing of our community. We extend our sincere thanks to Dr Stuart Adamson and the many healthcare professionals who have been involved along the way.

We are also grateful that a smooth transition has occurred, with Five Gums Medical now providing the service and WA Country Health Service supporting the consulting facilities, ensuring local access to this essential service continues.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make quality healthcare available in Mingenew. 👏💙

Flu Vaccination Clinic Extended in Mingenew 💉

The availability of free influenza (flu) vaccinations at the Mingenew Health Centre has been extended until 30 June 2026.

Appointments are available between 9:00am and 3:30pm.

✅ FREE for all Medicare-eligible WA residents
✅ Nasal spray vaccine available for children

Due to current and forecast wet weather, all unsealed roads within the Shire of Mingenew are closed to all vehicles until further notice, except local residents using 4WD under 4.5T, please exercise caution and drive to the road conditions, avoiding driving through flood waters. 📢ARC Infrastructure wishes to advise that Midland Railway, between Carnamah and Mingenew, will be closed until September from tomorrow (10 June 2026) to carry out upgrade works.

There should be no change in behaviour at level crossings. Drivers and pedestrians should remain vigilant and follow the road rules as usual. This means stopping at a STOP sign or responding appropriately to active protection (lights/boomgates/bells).
