To access Urgent Care, call healthdirect on 1800 022 222 to speak to a registered nurse. 🌏 Do you speak another language? Call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450.

💬 Talking about future healthcare wishes can feel difficult, but planning ahead can make decisions easier for you and the people who care about you.

Free advance care planning workshops are coming up online and in Moss Vale and Bowral for adults, families and carers.

The workshops will explain advance care planning in simple terms, including how to start conversations with family and healthcare professionals and record your wishes in an Advance Care Directive or Values and Preferences Statement.

Upcoming workshops include:

Free community vaccination clinics are making it easier to stay protected close to home, with upcoming clinics available:

📍 Wollondilly Community Health Centre, Tahmoor
10 September, 8 October, 12 November and 10 December

📍 Warragamba Silverdale Immunisation Clinic
25 September and 30 October, from 9.30am to 2pm

Both locations offer free vaccinations. Wollondilly provides vaccinations based on age and health status, while Warragamba Silverdale offers immunisations and catch-up vaccines in a culturally safe setting.

BreastScreen NSW offers free screening to women aged 40 and over. Women aged 50 to 74 are encouraged to screen every two years.

🚚 If you’re in the Tahmoor area, you can book at the BreastScreen NSW mobile van at Tahmoor Community Centre car park until 18 December.

Do you have a cough, sore throat, fever, runny nose or other cold and flu symptoms?

☎️ Call 1800MEDICARE (1800 633 422). A registered nurse will discuss your symptoms and guide you to the right care.

🏥 Urgent Care can treat illnesses and injuries which are not life-threatening but need prompt medical attention and cannot wait for a regular GP appointment.

There are six Urgent Care sites in South Western Sydney:

📍 Gregory Hills
