That’s a wrap!
Thank you to all who visited and supported our beautiful Mirboo North Swimming Pool over the 2025/26 Summer Season.
It’s been a fabulous season and together with the Y and the South Gippsland Shire we have achieved many things. Some of the highlights and events of our summer season were:
- The return of early morning lap swimming on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, which was very well received;
- Santa By the Pool;
- The unveiling of the Wally Carter Seat;
- Australia Day;
- Movie Night, with record crowds;
- Sound proofing of the community room;
- Special Announcement about the pool tiles, now located in the community room;
- Family Day featuring Mr Music, coinciding with the Summer Feast event;
- Friends of Swimming Pool AGM;
- End of Season Pool Party; and finally
- last day of operation yesterday 31st March 2026.
Together we celebrated and achieved many great things and we look forward to the 2026/27 Summer Season, where will continue to embrace all that our unique and fabulous pool has to offer.
In the meantime if you or a club or organisation you belong to, are looking for a venue to host a meeting or an event, remember that our community room is available for hire (details and link on the Y website).

LAST CALL FOR A SWIM!!!!
Tuesday 31st March is last day of the season and your last chance for a swim. The weather conditions will be perfect with a top of 28 degrees so pool open from 3pm til 7pm.
Catch you poolside one last time this season.

What a great start to the week and a fabulous end to the season!!!
A perfect 25 degrees tomorrow Monday 30th March so pool will be open for early morning swimming from 6am - 9am then open again from 3pm til 7pm.

A reminder that FAMILY FUN DAY IS HAPPENING TODAY!!!!
1pm -7pm includes sausage sizzle and lawn games.
It will also be your last chance to buy some raffle tickets to go in the draw to win an air fryer valued at $500.

Sorry about the confusion everyone but the staff looked at the weather and thought that the Family Fun Day would be better on SUNDAY. So this has moved back to SUNDAY/TOMORROW.

Mirboo North Pool will be closed tomorrow (27/3) due to cooler weather (17°C).

Early morning swim will still go ahead from 6–9am.
