Our District Cross Country Team competed at the Division carnival this week and showcased the tremendous running talent we have at APPS. 11 students ran, with 5 of them progressing to Region by finishing in the top 10 (2 firsts, 1 fifth & 2 sixths) - we wish them all the best for the upcoming regional carnival and until then… we’ll see them at Running Club on Tuesday.

Dear APPS Dads & father figures,

We are excited to invite all dads and father figures in our school community to an upcoming Fathering Project evening at Antonio Park Primary School.

Date: Tuesday 16th June 2026
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Antonio Park Primary School Hall

This session, led by Rodney Eade, will explore:
* What the Fathering Project is all about
* What children need most from their dads and father figures
* The important role fathers can play in building a strong, connected school community

The evening will also provide an opportunity to connect with other dads in our community and begin building a supportive network moving forward.

We are hoping this event will be the first step in growing a group of dads who are keen to be involved in future school events and initiatives.

We would love to see as many of our dads and father figures there as possible.

Scrub the decks! Our Year 4 excursion to Polly Woodside was a terrific experience for students and a great opportunity to learn about the journey from Europe to what we now call Australia. This will form an important part of students’ learning as their Term 2 Inquiry projects take shape.
