Yesterday we had an auspicious moment where Molong's finest - Lenny Punch - was presented a medal of recognition for 35 years of continuous service to Fire and Rescue NSW by Inspector Dane Philippe.
To put that in perspective, when Lenny joined, firefighting was still done on horseback, so he has seen Molong (Station 380) adapt and evolve in leaps and bounds.
All joking aside, we appreciate Lenny's unwavering commitment, offbeat sense of humor, his "blazingly" bright floral shirts and most importantly, his dedication to the community of Molong. We are lucky to have you.
