That’s a wrap on the Municipal Works Conference in Bendigo 2026.
It was a fantastic couple of days connecting with both regional and metro councils across our indoor and outdoor displays. With five Bucher machines on show, there was plenty of interest and some valuable conversations throughout the event.
On display were:
• MaxPowa V65t on the IVECO Eurocargo
• CityCat VR50
• Spoutvac C140
• Kroll Combination Unit
In addition, Daimler showcased our Urbin RL160e mounted on the e-Econic 100% electric chassis — a great example of innovation driving the future of sustainable municipal solutions.
A big thank you to our Truck Sales and Vacuum & Jetting teams for their outstanding effort across the two days. A strong team performance all round.

Vale Shayne McDonald, always in our hearts.

Today we share the very sad news that a valued member of our team, Shayne McDonald, has passed away over the weekend.

Shayne was a long-standing Service Manager who dedicated many years to supporting our customers, our technicians and the wider industry. His deep technical knowledge, commitment to service excellence and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on everyone who worked with him.

Across countless service calls, customer visits and problem-solving moments, Shayne built strong relationships and earned enormous respect from colleagues and customers alike.

More importantly, Shayne was a valued teammate and friend to many within our organisation.

Our thoughts are with Shayne’s family, friends and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time.
