Welcome to the MSA Recreational Library, run by the Monash Student Association at Clayton Campus. Formerly known as JML (John Medley Library), the Rec Library has been part of the student union at Monash since 1964. We are a recreational library with beanbags, lounges, TV, nintendo area, and reading/study desks. Our up-to-date collection includes books, DVDs, magazines, comics, CDs, LPs, board gam

es & more. The library also offers discounted printing, binding, & laminating services, plus phone-chargers, laptop-chargers, stationery, umbrellas, & other useful equipment to borrow. FB Page moderation policy:

SURLY is running a Winter Reading Challenge! There will be new surprise prompts each week from 15 June.

To participate, pick up a postcard from SURLY to fill in each week to keep track of your reading. You can also sign up for weekly email reminders (sign up link in bio).

The photography competition may be over, but don’t let that stop you from letting your creativity fly! The photography display at SURLY has some great prompts to get you started if you need ideas! How did y’all think I did?
