We’re looking to reunite an owner with a piece of football memorabilia. A framed ‘Bali Geckos’ football jersey was found early this morning outside Bayside Police Station and may hold sentimental value to its owner.

If you or someone you know is the owner of this item, please contact Bayside Police Station on 8530 5100. Please note that proof of ownership will be required to collect it.

Over the Kings birthday weekend, you may see us out and about conducting roadside drug and alcohol testing. Often, we get asked "why are you doing this so early?"

This is why... At 8am on Thursday members from Moorabbin Highway Patrol intercepted a 45 year old male from Cranbourne driving a Ford Ranger for a routine licence check. Checks of his licence revealed that it was expired for almost a month. He then provided an evidentiary breath test reading of 0.139, well over the limit.

The driver's vehicle was impounded for a 30 day period and his licence suspended until the pending court date at Moorabbin Magistrates Court.

Just because you have had "some" sleep doesn't mean you will be ok to drive the following day. Please drive safely this long weekend.

“No one expects a road crash to happen to them, until it does.”

This May, Amber Community is calling on regional communities to Shine a Light on Road Safety.

Country roads present unique challenges, long distances, higher speeds, and changing conditions. Taking extra care behind the wheel can save lives.

Be part of the movement by supporting Shine a Light on Road Safety, whether that’s sharing the message, getting involved in local fundraising, or joining the Walk & Wheel event.

Together, we can help prevent road trauma in our regions.
