AFTRS Library The Jerzy Toeplitz Library serves AFTRS staff and students and supports the Australian film, broadcasting and media industries. It is open to the public.

The AFTRS library holds a comprehensive collection of training and research resources related to film, television, radio and emerging technology production in Australia. The library was named in 1989, honouring the founding director of AFTRS, Professor Jerzy Toeplitz (1909-1995). He was reknowned as an international film theorist, critic, historian and film educator.

Don’t miss WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? (1966) on tomorrow night. A striking directorial debut by Mike Nichols, the film was nominated for 13 Academy Awards, making it one of only two films to ever be nominated in every eligible category. It ultimately won five Oscars, including Best Actress for Elizabeth Taylor and Best Supporting Actress for Sandy Dennis.

Our HEISTS display has trans'ed and now it's ALL ABOUT LIZ 💅🏻💎🍸. As you recall from our previous display, Liz Taylor's trailer was burgled and now the suspect's left a message on the star's vanity (written in red lipstick no less 💄)
