CNRP Melbourne (Australia) We were full of joy and hope once the Khmer Rouge era finally comes to an end, but we were wrong.

Political landscape in Cambodia has changed so much in the last 30 years, for those who remember the Khmer Rouge regime would agree with us that Khmer Rouge was the most hatred and painful chapter in Khmer history. In a very short period, Khmer Rouge able to kill million of its own people, some by most the cruel and unspeakable methods that known to men. Under the current regime, leads by Hun Sen,

Khmer people continue to suffer, not in the scale of million but Khmer suffer, not long ago young men were gun down, the only crime that these young men committed if any, by throw rock and calling for a better wages, better working condition. Those who escaped the gun shot were arrested and kept in the prison. The cruelty under this current government does not stop there, land grabbing is on the rise and only the rich and powerful seem to win this battle, the ordinary Khmer people were forced out of their home and many become refugee in their own country. Hun Sen himself was once a Khmer rouge commander, he has learnt well from the Khmer rouge era, by using political of fear he managed to keep Khmer from speaking out for nearly half of the century. But with the formation of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), Khmer has awaken, as seen during the election campaign, during the return of President Sam Rainsy, Khmer are united under the banner of CNRP. On this note, we would like to invite you to be part of our team, to continue our fight for free and fair election, to fight for a decent wage and stop land grabbing. Email: [email protected]
