Further issues have emerged at the Clermont Water Treatment Plant, impacting recovery efforts. Council crews are working around the clock to maintain supply.

Please continue to use water carefully.

✅ Essential household use permitted
✅ Hand-held watering, car washing and pool top-ups permitted
❌ No sprinklers

Clermont residents are advised that the local water supply has been partially restored today Monday, 10 August 2026 at 4am.

💦ESSENTIAL WATER USE ONLY

As works at the water treatment plant are ongoing, Council asks residents to continue to restrict their water use to essential uses only.

⚠️Storage levels across town remain critically low.

Clermont residents are being asked to immediately reduce water consumption and use water for essential purposes only following an operational failure at the Clermont Water Treatment Plant.

Council crews are actively working to rectify the issue; however, water conservation is critical to help maintain the town's water supply during this period.

💦ESSENTIAL WATER USE ONLY

Residents are requested to:
• Do not water lawns, gardens or plants
• Flush toilets only when necessary
• Only shower or bathe if essential
• Avoid all non-essential water use, including washing vehicles and other discretionary activities

While there is currently water available within the system, supplies may become impacted if water use remains at normal levels while treatment operations are restricted.

As a precaution, additional water is being trucked into Clermont. If required, contingency plans are in place to provide access to water collection points throughout town.
