Groundbreakers Community Garden, Caboolture South / Morayfield

Groundbreakers Community Garden, Caboolture South / Morayfield Members are allocated a plot to grow their own flowers, herbs, fruit and/or veges. There is a communal herb garden, fruit trees, worm farm and compost bin.

Members are allocated a plot to grow their own flowers, herbs, fruit (but not trees without prior permission) and/or veges, similar to a British "allotment garden", for a yearly fee. Members are encouraged to come together on Saturday mornings for a social time to learn from each other and to take part in communal activities around the garden.

MORETON BAY ECO-FEST
Saturday 8th October, 2022 - 10.00am to 2.00pm
CABOOLTURE TOWN SQUARE
4 Haskings Street, Caboolture.

The festival is a fun, family friendly event promoting sustainability living ideas for the whole community to come and enjoy.
* Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia + sustainability experts who will share practical tips on how to live sustainably.
* Heaps of fun with activities, entertainment on stage and plenty of hands on workshops.
*Wheelchair accessible, accessible toilets and footpaths.
*What to bring - hats and sunscreen. Sunscreen will be available at the information stall. Reusable water bottles - hydration points provided. Picnic blanket.
*Food and beverages available.
*THIS IS AN ALCOHOL-FREE event.

NOTE - Owing to unforeseen circumstances our Moreton Bay Community Garden event has been postponed. A new date Saturday 11th June, 2022 is being organised. Same place, same time. GUEST SPEAKER - MORNING TEA - SAUSAGE SIZZLE. We apologise for the late notice. DO COME ALONG and have chat with other like minded enthusiasts and maybe find a solution to a problem you are having OR share a good gardening story.

SATURDAY 14th MAY from 8.00am to 12.00noon at the Groundbreakers Community Garden, 74 Grant Road, Caboolture South. Guest Speaker - Morning Tea - Sausage Sizzle. Come along and meet like minded people and gain some knowledge or find the answer to a problem you may have. SEE YOU THERE.
