We care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, including before and after school programs. We are committed to providing the highest quality care in the shire. Our fully air conditioned centre provides a

beautiful atmosphere where children can play and learn in comfort. ur centre is pleased to be operating a Queensland Government approved Kindergarten Program with an Early Childhood Teacher, aimed at preparing our pre-prep children for primary schooling. Our centre implements the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline and focuses on building upon children’s learning and development including literacy and numeracy skills and exploring the foundations of mathematics and science. e are committed to the implementation of the National Early Years Learning Framework and operate an Emergent Curriculum. Our program is based on the individual needs of the children in our care, is balanced and developmentally appropriate. It has variations, providing for a wide range of individual experiences. We believe food ingredients should come from the kitchen, not from a lab. From this belief came the inspiration to open our own production kitchen, the Healthy Cooking Company. We aim to create and promote natural and wholesome food with a number of health benefits:

* No artificial flavours
* Low in sodium & refined sugar
* Naturally sweetened with honey

As Educators, we believe in teaching children that physical activity can be fun as well as good for our bodies and minds. As a result we have employed the skills of a fully qualified Personal Trainer to coordinate exciting exercise programs within our centres. We want the children in our care to experience the numerous health benefits that regular physical activity can provide. 🔥🚒 FIRE CUP KNOCKDOWN! 🚒🔥

Our Junior kindy firefighters had a blast practicing their fire safety skills with our Fire Cup Knockdown activity.

The children took turns knocking down the “fires” while excitedly shouting “Fire, fire!” and “Knock down fire!” Once all the cups were knocked down, the children worked together to stack them back up, ready for another turn.

This fun, hands-on experience encouraged turn-taking, teamwork, coordination, language development and gross motor skills, while continuing our conversations about fire safety.

🚗💙 Keeping Children Safe on the Road! 💙🚗
Our educators recently had the opportunity to participate in professional development with Kidsafe Queensland, focusing on the safe installation and use of child car restraints.

The session provided our team with valuable hands-on knowledge and practical skills to ensure child car seats and restraints are installed and used correctly. It was a fantastic opportunity for our educators to refresh their knowledge, build confidence and strengthen our commitment to keeping children safe both at our service and when travelling in the community.

We are proud of our team for continuing to build their knowledge and skills through professional development and for always putting the safety, wellbeing and best interests of our children first!

🏖️🌊 Happy World Beach Day! 🐚💙

Our Junior Kindy friends had a splash of ocean-themed fun today as we celebrated World Beach Day!

The children explored our ocean small world, featuring water, sand, shells, coral and a variety of ocean animals. This hands-on experience encouraged the children to use their imaginations, explore different textures and engage in sensory play while learning about the creatures and environments found in our oceans.

We also enjoyed reading some ocean-themed books, talking about the animals we might find under the sea and how we can help keep our beaches and oceans clean and safe.

To celebrate National Beach Day, the children took part in a beach clean-up activity, working together to care for and protect our natural environment. The children used tools that could filter out the rubbish of the water to simulate cleaning out water ways, sifting through water and sand to clean it out.

They explored the importance of keeping our beaches clean and safe for people and wildlife while developing a sense of responsibility and respect for the world around them. Through this hands-on experience, the children were able to make a positive contribution to their community and see how small actions can make a difference.
