What an exciting week at Mordialloc Neighbourhood House with our Occasional Care Children immersing themselves in Anzac traditions, as well as visits from Fairy Deb and Aussie Wildlife Incursions.

All involved were curious, respectful and engaged interacting with snakes, lizards, possums, a wombat and Denis the Black Cockatoo!

Our creative kids have been busy exploring chalk, building blocks, and letting their imaginations run wild. Trains are a big theme in play right now, with excitement building around the Mordialloc Station and Skyrail opening on May 21, 2026.

Please note there will be road and rail disruptions from April 30 to May 21. MNH will remain open for occasional care and all our programs during this time—we can’t wait to welcome you!

From toddlers to tweens to teens — there’s something for everyone!
Get creative with a Thursday afternoon art session, learn a new skill in our intergenerational knitting class (Thursday 12-2) or level up with hands-on barista training (Monday 9:30am-4pm).

Looking for fun and meaningful school holiday activities?

A cross-generational knitting class has just been added to our schedule—perfect for ages 8 to 80+! This workshop is on Thursday, April 16, from 12 noon. What a beautiful way to connect, learn, and create together.

Stay on to knit & socialise while your younger child recreates an art masterpiece in our Creative Kids Art Program from 2:15pm.

Teens! Looking for a café job? Join our Youth Barista Session on April 13 and learn the skills to get started.
