Only 10 mls of rain here on Monday and poor oldB undaberg nearly got blownaway. Crazy crazy. Back to watering the garden today it is so so dry. Emus are doing it tough.Echidnas still digging digging in the garden.

Just returned back to Historic Maryvale from the southern snow fields. What a contrast. Beautiful Alpine region with magnificent snowfalls to return to more drought bulldust and no likelihood of rain soon. My beautiful fortuniana white climbing roses cascading allover the tennis court fence and arbours.Echidnas digging everywhere! Morven annual races tomorrow. A great event for the Morven and wider community.

Trains of resident echidnas just everywhere. Early Spring. Love moving the rock work and the ant bead tennis court.Cutest faces.

Feels like Spring - where is winter? Holidaying at Thredbo from 24 August. Cannot wait. Best snow in 40 years. Much needed holiday with family.

Lovely Autumn with her beautiful colour graces out the door for winter. Rather cool mornings however magnificent days. Pity about the drought. Stock living on mulga look amazing. What an indomitable tree.

This last week heat nearly unbearable. 42 degrees on the breezeway. Time for a dip in the pool. Even the kelpie Tobey sits in his pond. Birds shelter in the Chinese Elm all day.Cannot wait for winter.
