Road closure near the corner of Cowles Road and Art Gallery Way due to a tree leaning on power lines. Ausgrid has been notified and its contractors will work to reopen the road, expected to be this afternoon. Please avoid or take extra care if in the area and follow directions from crews on site.

Congratulations to Councillor Pip Friedrich on being elected Deputy Mayor at the September Council meeting.

Known for her commitment to access and inclusion and passion for protecting and enhancing our natural environment, Cr Friedrich is chair of the Access and Inclusion Community Consultative Committee and the Local Transport Forum, and a councillor representative of committees for Flood Risk Management; Audit, Risk and Improvement; the Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC) and the Shorelink Library Network.

Cr Friedrich will serve a one-year term as Deputy Mayor until September 2027.

Community grants making a difference. Recipients in the 2026-27 program share how funding of up to $5000 will benefit projects and activities their organisations provide to the Mosman community. Council has allocated more than $90,000 to 25 groups this year.

Have old electronics you no longer need? Bring them to our e-waste recycling event tomorrow and help keep valuable materials out of landfill.

Accepted items include computers, laptops, TVs, printers, mobile phones, game consoles, microwaves, light bulbs, cables and other small electrical items.
